Uhm, i think you forget the scene with him sitting in the Throne Room with Garlean corpses everywhere, i think it came to peoples attention already in the time we were in the shard that he did kill his father by now and people tried to stop him as seen with the corpses, on top i believe we will see the two sister guardians we fought in Ghymlit again as witnesses also for it. I don't think here he can even force anyone in a war anymore and just does what he likes, he not cares for the land or country, just his hunt.
