Revelations from Patch 5.3

If anything, I think Garlemald (or at least a faction in it) will ask us if we could help them clean up the current mess Garlemald is in. The Emperor is dead. Last we saw, the Ist and IIIrd Legions were fighting each other over control of the Garlean Capitol. The VIIth Legion has it's Gundam scheme and a... crazy Legatus. More and more conquered territories are rising up against Garlemald. And the entire contenent is more than likely out for Garlemald's blood in some size shape or form in retrebution for said conquering. Oh, and Zenos controls the palace, but isn't interested in ruling.

At the very least, someone has to go and get Zenos out of Garlemald before anything can really start getting done to stabilize it, since... Zenos is just going to cut down anyone who tries to dislodge him. Except maybe the WoL who has proved they can fight on his level. Thing is... the Eorzea Alliance has a lot better things to do than to march a continent and a half over to keep Garlemald from imploding anymore than it already has under Emet-Selch. But Zenos really does have to go...

I'm still considering "secretly not dead" a possibility until further notice.

He's just... gone nowhere at the end of a rather disjointed-feeling character arc and it seems like a waste at this point.

I mean its possible he has a clone body, since the stolen Allagan technology has proven that can be done. But I'm not sure this is a path they are pursuing atm.
