Revelations from Patch 5.3

As I just finished my last 80 (dragoon) their 5.0 job story drops the idea that all of the 7 dragon brood (Midgardsormr's kids) are responsible for the stewardship of the star in his absence.

I'm thinking the remaining brood will come back into the story if we are on the verge of a calamity that will allow Zodiark out of his moon cage. This may also be the Heavensward hint that Yoshi-P referenced.

The Heavensward hint could also be less looking back and more paying attention to what's happening now, the restoration is kind of carrying on the Heavensward story ark and it's very focused on the Dragons once again being willing to mingle with man, so I could very much see them coming back into the story come 6.0.
Even with Doma, Ala mhigo and Ishgard in the alliance the empire is no push over, but a united Ishgard/Dragon force would be very powerful, wouldn't be the first time man and Dragon were at war before Dragon allowed Man to ride into battle apone them.
The Dragoons, trained to slay dragons become Dragon Riders, ruling the skies and leaping from their backs in combo of spear and flame... suddenly I want this as a class...

A part of me suspect the mention of relearning Heavensward may mean the next expansion may go to Sharlayan and we must reason with them to open up their gates and change their old ways like we did to Ishgard. The War we end this time is the long time war against Garlean Empire as that has been our Dragonsong War since the beginning of FF14 storyline.

Though that is only one of the things I suspect why the developers want us to remember Heavensward as something important for the upcoming storyline.

In honestly, if this raid story follows Ending D as people suspect this is most likely a attempt by the Machine Lifeforms to become the next generations of Adam and Eve.

In Nier Automata, Adam and Eve were the first P series machine lifeforms and from the collectable lore we can gather from both 1st raid and 2nd raid it seems they are attempting to transfer and evolve themselves to become the next generations of Adam and Eve which as we have seen is successful since now we have the P series Machine liforms as our enemies here in 2nd Raid and potentially 3rd raid.

From what we learn in 2nd Raid, the P stands for Puppet because their bodies are puppets for the Machine lifeforms to use so they can become Human and they are modifying these Puppets to become more human in design slowly.

As of now my own theory is that Adam and Eve may have continued their research into becoming more Human thus resulted in the creation of the P-series. We know they are on the spaceship in Ending D so it can be assumed they are here on the First as well potentially being the leader of the P-series Machine Lifeforms since they themselves are the original two P-series Machine Lifeforms.

If that's the case though the 9S that went on the Ark with them had made his peace with the machines, so why has he turned against them?

Maybe i just go against "traditions" here but, i doubt we just have here good vs evil anymore and that Zodiark is the least problem we will have, i am more worried about Hydalin with the last revalations.

I mean think about it, they both supposedly are balance to each other in a way, Hydalin won and banished Zodiark, shatterign him in pieces, i doubt there even is a full Zodiark anymore if only remains like with Elidibus. The thing here is, we kept beating the Ascians over and over, we prevent another calamity even, beaten Primae after Primae not always resummoned anymore. Yet she still is supposedly in a weak state and Zodiark who was in pieces gets stronger? This all smells simply fishy to me.

I start to believe Zenos will get Hydalin instead, and Zodiark will even add to our help in some way. Hydalin is to quote Gaius, also just a parasite like the other Primae and gods honestly. Hydalin i fear will turn out more worse then we believe so farm, if you tihnk about it she might be the basic embodiments of an Ascian, the same people that made her, manipulating people and telling lies.

What makes me think that? Well, as we seen with Elidibus repeating the Starfall twice and, "Hydalin" spoken to people, it makes me think Hydalin might never truely speaken to us or at least not all the time. Thing is also with her supposed weakened state, so many believe in Hydalin and Elidibus shown they can take this beleive as power, so why doens't Hydalin get stronger? While Zodiark, this "long ago sealed away evil" basically with no one knowing even the full truth.

Same for the other gods even, Urianger himself after the last Quest in the sieroom says he starts to question The Twelves origins. This will surely lead to something i say, and honestly i will be happy if Hydalin will not just be the untouchable holy being anymore, considering the peopels believe in her are even more blind then the Ascians had to Zodiark.

Zodiark and Hydalin both are Primae, they see each other as rival same for other primae, it is in there nature simply. Something no one of them can hide, if it is true, then she is the biggest parasite of them all, sucking on the worlds essence since it splitted apart to keep herself going. Ironically that reminds me of the Legacy of Kain series. the Elder God, a parasite posing as a god of Death and Rebirth, while in reality consuming the Souls of the land to feed his hunger, hurting the world in the end and even blaming others for its state.

This would honestly be a good plot twist in my eyes. And not just another Good vs Evil with no grey areas at all, which we gladly had alot, more recent with Elidibus and Emet Selch, only wished they had stayed longer, even Lahabrea.

Main point what worrys me is simply how we not hear anything about her anymore, no medium like Minfillia (thnak god she is hopefully gone for good) used to talk to us even, it feels liek she got caught honestly with the whole Primae oiginof her and Zodiark.

The new P-Units seems different from the ones that went with 9S since the Machine-life form that 9S made peace with was fighting along side him in the 1st Raid.

The P-units (aka Puppet Units) goals and reason why 9S maybe against them is currently unknown. Could be a civil war between the old machine life forms (the one siding with 9S) and new machine life forms (those that seek to become P-units)

We have to wait for the answer in 3rd Raid 6 or 5 months from now.

Do people even believe in Hydaelyn though? I have the impression that very few people even know the mother crystal is a thing.

I honestly don't think she's that well known anywhere. Eorzeans tend to worship the 12. In Doma, Kugane and other places like that, they worship the Kami's. Norvrandt they just worshipped light with seemingly no name attached to it. Then there is the part that when people on the first heard Her, after Elidibus did his meteor shower act, they kept saying "I hear a voice" and not saying Hydaelyn.

I would also like to point out that damn near everytime She even speaks to us, She's introducing her self as, "I am Hydaelyn, all made one." Quite frankly its almost gotten to the point where I'm half expecting my character to face palm the next time She says that and say to her or interrupt her by saying, "Yeah, your Hydaelyn all made one, yadda, yadda, yadda, get to the point."

Primals feed off of the faith of their worshipers. What's the difference between Zodiark and Hydaelyn? Zodiark was cut up into 14 parts and sealed, and has worshipers in the form of the Ascians who summoned him. Hydaelyn has no worshipers because her summoners sacrificed themselves to summon her, and is using all her energy to keep the seal going. It makes perfect sense why she's losing power, she doesn't have a proper energy source like Zodiark and has been steadily using hers while Zodiark has been unable to use his because it's under lock and key.

Appealing to a nation to change their old ways could also be leveled against Garlemald itself, seeing how the empire is in shambles and the truth the citizenry believed in for their military's eternal conquest has been revealed to be lies, much like the Dragonson War and Ishgard.
