I'm not sure if you missed it but you still haven't answered my question as to why having an all or nothing QTE all of a sudden on a story gating quest is a good idea. Or why a laughingly simple repetitive physical requirement is a good way to make something difficult/interesting.

Though your copout exit does make me think you didn't really have any point of view to begin with. I like to try and be charitable but you're either ignoring or swatting away all olive branches , so i'm pretty sure you were just in here to stir the pot.

There was two videos and a few tips that were brought up that alot of people just waved away. So in a sense he wasn't wrong. And while he may have been a bit mean it still doesn't take away from his point that 2 videos showing how you can pass it without killing your hand exist.

I have seen the videos and of course they provide compelling evidence.. however the first night it dropped i was playing with someone who was HAMMERING the spacebar with both hands and they could not pass, not until we realized you could use any key at all. So either there is an element missing we aren't considering like it samples your keypressing rate and adjusts to what it thinks you can do or they've possibly stealth fixed it.

My point of why an "all or nothing" mechanic was added to a story quest stands. Difficulty should be in technique, not raw button mashing and putting every single member in a possibly random cobbled together party personally responsible for passing. Just the fact that you would have to go learn the "secret technique" to passing instead of doing what the game intuitively suggests you do makes me consider it a bad design. The devs made solo instances difficulty changeable, why make one random story fight have such a hard gate on it? Sure it was bleeding edge content on release day, but someday it's just going to be this weird spike in the curve for a new player trying to get through the story.

It only means that these solutions are not universal. They may be okay for someone, but not for another one. If someone honestly says that this solution does not suit, it does not mean that that person waved it away.
