Why does everyone want Chemist as a new job?

I absolutely expect my mages to be in robes most of the time, just like I expect tanks to get armour.

Red Mage, Scholar, and Gunbreaker would all like to know your location.

We can look girly without them, too, but I'd still like more variety in my flamboyance

I'm all for Chemist/Apothecary for a new healer job, even if I probably won't actually play it myself. I feel like any Healing gear they add that's designed more toward it will mesh really well with SCH gear, the same way DNC and BRD-aesthetic Aiming gear meshes well (though, honestly, SCH isn't a robe-wearing job, either, and we still have to put up with all the hideous potato sacks, but maybe having a second combat medic-type job will even the field a little).
