Couple questions about crafting

1. I got 3 soul of the crafters and put one on my lvl 80 goldsmith but forgot where I went to do it, I clicked the soul stone tab to put one on my lvl 80 blacksmith but it won't allow me to, why not?

2. I bought all the master recipe books from 3 to 8 for my gold smith and unlocked them, I noticed the he and above glowy primal weapon recipes are in there but not the are glowy primal recipes, plus master recipe section 1,2, and 3 is blank,. Why is this?

1. Souls of the Crafter work like job crystals: They're specific to the crafter you had them engraved for. So the Soul of the Crafter your goldsmith is using is goldsmith-specific, you need the blacksmit one for your blacksmith and so on. You cant have more than 3 souls total, but Alderan in Ishgard (near the astrologian guild) will switch them for you. You need a blank soul of the crafter each time (can be bought with scrips) and you can only change 3 times a week (reset is on tuesday).

2. They would be blank because you need the master crafter books 1, 2 and "Demimateria" to unlock them. You can buy them from Talan in Mor Dhona. Some of the old primal weapons belong to those books.
