No more QTE please.

Again, a QTE should not cause people pain, it also should not wipe an entire party just because *one person* is unable to clear it. I cleared it, but had to quit playing the rest of the night after the trial because I was in *pain* when I completed it. I have heard the same from others here.

I am still not sure why people are so fixed on defending that one mechanic? Its not like people wanted to change the whole fight and make that easier. No its just one single mechanic that honestly is not that enjoyable at all..(and takes away from the scene since you are focused more on smashing the keys..at least that was with my time at it)

Its kinda interesting how they choose to have such a thing in a MSQ fight yet in the extreme version its seemingly not here? Why not? Because for some its seemingly THE challenge that is so awesome that it should stay, even if it can hurt even people without a disability..

What is so important to it that some defend it by saying that people should just accept them and not complain on the forum (one of the big points of having a forum) and to just deal with it..no nobody has to deal with it. We have the right to voice our opinion about this without being downplayed..

There will always be some sort of solution out there...but why do something outside of the game if the devs could simply change it up? What great awesome part of the fight will be lost if they make it so, that you don wipe the whole party? Did not wiping the whole party made it less interesting with Hades and any other cases that they used it?

The Susano sword blocking thing specifically I like because it's a really cool moment for tanks. Feels good.

But the whole 'everyone spam button to survive' thing has gotten kinda stale IMO.

Except in this case you *can not recover* the fight by raising the person who failed the QTE. How many times do we have to tell you naysayers that the issue most of us have with the QTE is that it\\\\'s a *wipe mechanic* that some of us cannot clear without pain?

Edit to add: And some of us cannot clear at *all*. Players should not be gated out of story content because a mechanic *hurts* them.

I'm going to guess you've never tanked, because this was a mechanic in Susano. How'd you pass that one? Or did you jump potion and therefore, it was skipped. Also that's not the point of communities. That's your idealism talking. Some, but far from all.

Those adjustments? They're still fitting a majority mold. I could be blind-deaf and unable to read braille. The solution? Learn braille. Not have someone cater further to me while claiming it's for the benefit to everyone else.

The real solution here is to not have it fail everyone. Not further break off a piece of the game for you.

I've been here since before ARR and yes I tank. Susan's QTE and Hades were both annoying, but they didn't require to mash THAT hard.

This new trial requires way more mashing in such a short amount of time. It's unforgiving.

I agree that one person messing it up shouldn't wipe the whole party. Save that mechanic for an EX mode.

Also, Lhunuial, if you are one of the ones that agree that QTE should be nerfed I apologize if my quote came off as attacking you. I'm just so sick of these people that think folk like me that #1 aren't all that coordinated in the first place and #2 are in the starting stages of carpal tunnel so this mech actually causes them *pain* are *whining* because we want it changed.

Edit to address Gula: That is what we are *asking* for, Gula. For them to *take the wipe mechanic* out of the QTE. I honestly think that is pretty reasonable.

Oh no, I'm sorry if it came across like that. I didn't feel like you were attacking me at all, sorry. Yes, I've been very vocal about getting this QTE changed. I tried the Seat of Sacrifice again this afternoon and the joints in my fingers just block and it hurts so bad when I have to mash buttons for 13 seconds like that and it's not even like the ones before. I can't try it more than once in a single day.

Thanks, I can get a little self conscious sometimes that my vitriol might get aimed at the wrong person and I do not want to do that. lol. I'm generally a very polite and reasonable person but I can get kinda grrr at people who come off as elitist. The same issue I have with this QTE is the reason I don't generally raid. I'm just not coordinated enough to do it well.
