True, but its an option available to everyone, even on PS4 you can plug and play a keyboard/mouse in to play as if it were a PC. You could even plug one in specifically for QTEs if you really wanted.
I'm not familiar with how QTEs work on controller...But if its anything like keyboard...Just press random buttons? Mashing one button over and over again is called repetitive strain injury, pressing one of each button 1-2 times for 10 seconds is called stretching your hand muscles.
Once again, really do not see the problem. Just press buttons fast? You likely mash buttons while waiting for your GCD during normal combat anyway so i dont see the difference here.
At what point specifically did you say you DID have a medical condition as such? You said "People" have been experiencing physical pain, not "I have been experiencing physical pain". How was i to know? I'm not omnipotent, i dont know if you have anything like that or not, which is why i said "Unless one had", to include that possibility. I'm sorry if my inclusion of that offended you?In case you haven't noticed, I have reported on having a medical condition. Other people have reported they experienced pain after recovering from a medical condition. And no, if you keep failing this QTE then you need to do it multiple times. So stop acting like what you experience applies to other people as well. I have had to do this at least 6 times already.
Urgh some of you people really refuse to consider other people's limitations.

2.0 Veteran from 2013. Just looking to be helpful. DRK is Love, DRK is life.
(Ignore the levels on my character card, the tool i used to make it hasn't been updated for 4.0)
I quote myself here: "Input lag also doesn't help with this QTE. That also bothered me on a few attempts. I tried again last night because I was feeling pretty good, I thought I might be able to pass that QTE, but no. With a relaxed pace, even when I pressed several buttons I failed and my hands still hurt because I had still had to keep it up for so long. At the end I still had to speed up my pace and I still failed. It's pretty frustrating."
I have been pretty active in this thread trying to make my case. So if I sound frustrated, it's because I am. This QTE really not as easy as some of you people make it out to be. I had no issues with the QTEs in this game, until now.
"I don't know how to explain to you that you should care about other people."
Player
The average GCD for all classes is 1.8-2.3 seconds, I tried to do it by pressing at a speed of 1.5-2 seconds and it doesn't work, I just kill the party. Ditto for light spam. I am doing quick spam. I will not have such problems, but I can say that I have friends. And you are all here discussing the physiology of other people, as if you have a Ph.D. and diagnosed yourself. There are a lot of situations, and the loss of game progress (for someone 7 years old) due to one mechanic is nonsense. In addition, I have been playing with ARR for a long time and I can say that the game has become much easier for casual players, so I do not see any problems with changing or removing the mechanics, it is still easier than a children's platformer, with or without it. But problem still in massed wipeTrue, but its an option available to everyone, even on PS4 you can plug and play a keyboard/mouse in to play as if it were a PC. Can only speak from mouse and keyboard, but my hands are torn up from a lifetime of software dev. For qte I just gently piano home row a couple times. It used to be painful when I didn't realize how forgiving it actually was, but you definitely don't have to go super ham on them at all.
No comment for controller players.

I like the Susano one and the memoria one. Stuff in Sacrifice is rubbish

One day people will read before they post. One day.
