Cure the disease, don't treat the symptom

So, for sake of argument, if they did (hypothetically) create a housing system where everyone could get a house; you would no longer be interested in having a house? This is an honest question and i would love an honest answer; and i'd love to know your reasoning for whatever answer you give.

So I have a few houses and am trying to get one house for each alt. I have alts in every world on a data center. If they make it where everyone could easily buy a house, I would still try to get houses but it would not feel as cool. It's like everything in this game. If they made ultimate clears retarded easy where everyone can clear it, then I would still do them but it wouldn't mean as much. Any example in the game where it takes effort to accomplish something, once they nerf it, then it loses some value.

edit: Certain things in this game should be hard/take effort so that you feel a sense of accomplishment once you get it. You should feel like you worked hard and earned that house when it finally happens. If you give to everyone then it changes that feeling.
