    They don't need to change Healers, they need to change encounter design. We presently have more tools than situations to use them in, So they end up just being used on a script in accordance with the scripted incoming damage.

    Moving damage away from timed, scripted/predictable spikes with long cast timers that give us huge advance warning of incoming damage would go a long way to getting us to give up a bit of DPS for some GCD Healing.
    Any time the proverbial sh!t is hitting the fan you'll catch a glimpse of what we Healers are truly capable of doing with health bars when our concern is saving the party instead of babysitting it.

    Honestly, I'm expecting to see more abilities become spells on the GCD. Harder to spend 90% of your GCDs on Glare/Malefic/Broil without an infinite supply of short cooldown oGCDs that are stronger than GCD heals.
