Real difficulty in normal dungeons would be great. As things stand there are only a very small handful of the absolute top tier encounters that can't be reliably cleared regardless of your group. Everything else becomes incredibly dull once you realize that effort is optional.
People were actually quitting over coin counter and stopping because beginner content actually used to be difficult. It's a hand holding game outside Savage and EX.
As a long time player, I'm happy with their apparent model of difficult on release, easy to farm later. Because only masochists want to run something that takes them over an hour to do over and over for a handful of tomes or a single piece of gear.
