What are some things from other MMOs or games in general that you wish were in FFXIV?

From world of warcraft I'd like to complete the races, ie no genderlocks. It's the standard in mmos for a very important reason.

How about we take it a bit further and go like GW2 where there are complete races AAANND the female beast race is allowed to be beastly and viscious.

I'd like a few things, some simple, some not so much:
- Improved glamour system (with, at the least, more space/plates)
- More account wide connections to actually encourage alts
- More interesting dungeons
- Better/deeper character creation (not necessarily more races, but more ability to customize the ones we already have, including body size/shape)

Oh right that reminds me of a suggestion I had where SE would put achievements tied to the account instead of the character and have cash shop items reward you with an achivement for your account so that you could redeem purchased items on every character without having the problem of "running out of account codes"

1. Something akin to WoW's Mythic Dungeons, or any kind of difficulty scaling system for end game dungeons

Whatever you want them for? I love how FF14 lets you do "everything" on a single character but it would be nice if you didn't feel essentially actively punished for wanting to have an alt or two.
I mean, some people want to play through various parts of the game again or like to have each character with their own identity rather than Fantasia'ing their main into a new character every time they want to look different. Some people just like to make alts for RP purposes. It would be great if the game was set up in a such a way where things like glamour, inventory, the Armoury bonus, etc. were shared. across account.

It's a hypothetical question. However, account sharing won't happen because of that very reason you stated yourself. "You can do everything on a single character". There is no need for alts. The only "Need" for an alt is how you described, for personal reasons. SE stated they wouldn't add it from previous live letters. That could change however in the next few years.

You're not being punished for having an alt. It's because you don't need one in the first place. It's why they don't have account sharing in place. As for playing through various parts of the game again, it's why they implemented New Game+. No alt needed. The RP aspect is understandable. However i don't see it as a valid reason for implementing a whole account-wide sharing system. This was debated in many threads before.
