    Crafting materials to have their own storage. If they can't because there are too many crafting materials, then condense the crafting materials. Don't need to have several forms of steel ingots. Ore -> ingot is enough. Same with fabrics and whatever.

    Any system of conferring appearances besides this. Glamour system should be completely redone. Shouldn't be lugging around items. Should be tied to your gearset rather than the items you have equipped. Should be able to apply it basically any time outside of combat.

    Open world transportation. I want chocobo carriages, boats, airships, you can board onto and actually ride rather than just being teleported.

    We should be able to select multiple items for common actions. Stuff like shift + click several rows of items for desynth, giving it to a retainer, etc.

    In general the job designs are really boring and unimaginative. Actions could be much more interesting and I think whatever team is responsible for thinking what jobs can do need a huge shakeup to get some fresh perspective. Even RPGs from decades ago have more interesting and creative and fun healer designs. Even in the confines of a tab target MMO we've seen better. FFXIV is an awesome game with a lot of fun encounters, great story, fun side attractions, but sadly there's not a lot of cool stuff going on with their jobs and it will be one of the first things to escape my memory after the game has exceeded its life.

    World of Warcraft's account wide Collection system; including mounts, gear appearances, etc.

    Cross server play (cross data center)

    The WoW gear appearance system in general. Storage space in FFXIV is a literal HELLSCAPE 90% of which is just gear that I've collected and can't part with because I may want to use the appearance later. Being able to unlock the appearance and get rid of the gear would alleviate like 90% of my woes in this game LOL

    The way WoW has voice lines for NPCs when you click on them. It adds a lot to the world imo and I would really enjoy that in XIV.

    There was a game called City of Heroes a long time ago, they had this system of messaging where if you were friends with someone you could always message them even if they were on a different character on a different server; Blizzard added this with Battle.net as well. Being able to friend someone and always be able to message them no matter what server or character they were on would be very helpful.

    Real difficulty in normal dungeons would be great. As things stand there are only a very small handful of the absolute top tier encounters that can't be reliably cleared regardless of your group. Everything else becomes incredibly dull once you realize that effort is optional.

    People were actually quitting over coin counter and stopping because beginner content actually used to be difficult. It's a hand holding game outside Savage and EX.
    As a long time player, I'm happy with their apparent model of difficult on release, easy to farm later. Because only masochists want to run something that takes them over an hour to do over and over for a handful of tomes or a single piece of gear.

    Titan HM is the mandatory encounter, not EX. And disbandment of FC'S =/= people quitting the game en mass.
