If you manage to be out of range of any of your party members in a 4man dungeon you simply messed up. No boss arena in 4man dungeons is so huge and so littered with aoes that you can't manage to have atleast a single party member in range. But okay, let's count it as a buff if you manage to actually achieve that.
the point of the warrior update is the fact its two main sources of clunkyness, Nascant requiring a target to cast on, and storm's eye lasting only 30 seconds. Have been addressed.

Irregardless of how impactful the changes are to the actual output of the job or how it fares in savage raiding, the QoL improvements are very welcome in other parts of the game where the changes do matter. Just because you might have been able to handle these mechanics pre-adjustment did not change the fact enough players found it annoying that SE actually bothered to address.
