I'd hardly say it's beyond reasonable belief for that to happen within the world itself. Even makes sense within the world really, the primal had been slain and they were all probably soaking wet from fighting a flying whale. I'd want to go and get changed ASAP too.
So right after the fight ended (on a flying plattform who knows how high in the sky) they teleported all away? Why? And again how makes it sense for Azys Lla? How did they even follow us there?

@MightyMollusk: The funny thing is, in the lore book the instances you mentioned (Cape and stuff) are the only instances where the writers use the other adventurers. And its the few instances where we go in truly prepared and on behalf of the whole alliance. We must still have lost them towards the end of at least Praetorium since we are the only one able to leave on our mount. So maybe we did send them back a bit earlier (did not want them to suffer Gaius monologue :P) or they all just died in the fire.

I am using the gameplay and story segregation. For me it just means that the gameplay where we fight with others is mostly just there as gameplay and not to reflect the story. (Otherwise my brain would just meld)

And not to mention a huge factor that concerns Thancred because he doesn't have enough Aether anymore to do anything. Up to and including teleporting to us because he no longer can after leaving the lifestream because of Y'shtola using Flow on them. Y'shtola her self uses teleport magic on us as well as herself after we fight Titan so we can leave the navel quickly.
Wasnt it also with Titan where Ysthola needed time to make the teleport ready? (Maybe I made this up in my own mind but feel like they once said that teleportation is not that easy and needs quite the concentration to successfully do it, which is probably why Alphinaud once "threw" his carbuncle at Titan before we left with teleportation) There as to be some restrictions otherwise we could have just all teleported out after the Uldah debacle or when we are caught by someone. (We did need the exarchs help after all when we got caught by grandpa.)
