    It sounds like most people do want some form of instant travel and fast travel -- be teleportation through spells or anima, airships, chocobo and other mounts, etc.

    It also sounds like most people want there to be some sort of restrictions in place so you can't just get anywhere, anytime, instantly and without any effort.

    How does anima not fulfill these wishes?

    Is it because it's limited and always running out?

    So people want to shift the limiting factor to something else like gil, Grand Company seals, time, or time to rank up a certain class? I really don't understand how that would be better. ><;
    What you are hearing are proposals from people who play a lot--40 hours a week or more. They are proposing teleportation schemes that cost something you can earn more of by playing more and thus favor people who play a lot, as opposed to anima, which grows at a fixed rate whether you're playing or not, and thus favors people who play maybe 10 hours a week. This is, of course, by design; it ensures that player with limited play time gets the most out of his limited time without letting the hardcore grinder teleport everywhere all the time.

    I would hope that SE leaves the current system -OR- if they change it, that they do so in a way that is fair to all players regardless of how many hours in a week they get to play, how much money they have, or what level they are at.

    Personally, the fairest idea in this thread sounds like the one about not allowing someone to be teleported to a gate that they have not previously attuned with. This would mean that at least the first time, the person needs to get there on their own.

    I also play 40~ hours per week and usually have nearly 100 anima even though I use it when convenient. I also ride my chocobo a lot, which I guess helps. ^^
