Yes, thankfully that particular path has been ruled out. Though many of the same posters who were asking for them to look like that have now switched tactics and are pushing for them to be as short and androgynous/feminine as possible to get a similar effect.

You couldn't be more wrong. As far as I know nobody wants them to be kid-looking (becuase it would be creepy, since their mates are adult 'Amazonian' women), people just embrace the idea of getting the reverse of AuRa (taller and stronger females, shorter and more delicate males). It's about having more options. Remember that people are different and some of them like to indentify with their characters. We have literally no option for androgynous men, all male characters are bulky, even Miqo'te. So I'd be more than happy to see one male race with more slender body, that's all. I do not see anything wrong with it.

This is again proof that people are not being honest. Male Viera should not be used to fill no kind of quota outside of being Male Viera, tall like the females, a lot of muscle like the females; and based on their lore and the official sketch they should be main/masculine/rugged/buff/puff. If they're androgynous they would just be male Elezen.
