In fact, they removed palace of the dead and didn't replace it with anything.

You're all pretending
Bozja is the sequel to Eureka, not Heaven on high
Heaven on high (in terms of development is not being followed by anything in Shadowbringers)
We're not getting something with that type of content loop, but the 'hey this is how you can level your alt classes' loop is absolutely being iterated upon. It's okay if you aren't happy that we aren't getting another Deep Dungeon, but the function it fulfills in the game isn't going away. It's just being assigned to another type of grindable content. Your mileage just may vary as to whether or not this is a good or comparable change.
The root of the topic is where development resources and time is being allocated to, not whether I can level jobs like in deep dungeon in the new Bozja. I know that already, it's not a revelation. We're not getting something with that type of content loop, but the 'hey this is how you can level your alt classes' loop is absolutely being iterated upon. If you actually followed the discussion you'd understand what we were talking about. The "cost/time" they used for Eureka last time around is being used for Bozja this time around, the same can't be said about Heaven on high, that development cost and time has not be "replaced" with anything.

I have been following the discussion but I thank you for that little pot shot. It does wonders to actually add merit to your argument. Truly. Likewise that's pure speculation on your part. No one but SE knows where that resource allocation went and we as the players will never be privy to that information either - so ultimately such speculation is moot. For all we know the development funds that would have been slotted for a new Deep Dungeon actually did go into the development of the Bozja Citadel. Or went into the development of Viera and Hrothgar. Or even were used to pay for employee sick leave during the pandemic. We simply do not and cannot know what that potential development cost was or wasn't used for once the decision to end the Deep Dungeon content was made. What isn't speculation is what other types of content are being used to replace the old system or how COVID has affected the company as a whole, as SE has been very upfront with the challenges it has brought to their development cycle. The root of the topic is where development resources and time is being allocated to, not whether I can level jobs like in deep dungeon in the new Bozja. Ultimately what this is coming down to is a difference in opinion and words. You say it isn't being replaced by anything. It is in pure terms of function. You then say that you actually meant the development cost in spite of no such indication being in your original post. Fair, but also an inarguable point regardless of what opinion either of us might hold because we'll frankly never know.
I didn't have to point to cost/time when the root of the discussion between Awha and Alleo was about just that. No, don't make it seem like it was about anything else.I have been following the discussion but I thank you for that little pot shot. It does wonders to actually add merit to your argument. Truly. Furthermore, do you know what probability is? The probability that Eureka and all the cost/time it consumed in stormblood is being used this time around for Bozja, that's a very high probablity; just like me saying that Titania and Innocence used the same cost and time value as Susano and Lakshmi. This game isn't that diverse in terms of content, it's the same content with a different paint every 2 years, this is undeniable.
It's good that heaven on high isn't followed up by anything in Shadowbringers, that cost and time could be used on the missing genders instead.
