Predictions for 5.3?

Recent interviews have stated that 5.3 will not end the Zodiark-Hydaelyn saga. As such it's conclusion will most likely be next expansion. Though I also would like the writers to start clearly seeding some new over-arching threat.

I think they already have, whatever the sound that caused everything to go fooba, our past life before sundering, relics from pre sundering, are all things pre Zodiark and Hydelyn and could have the potential to start a whole new arc in the story.

You also have the New World and Merecydia as entire continents that can have new stuff, Merecydia stuff can include things from Tiamat/Bahamut/Warring Triad.
