You are absolutely right. That doesn't change how I feel about it though. Although, I don't think any of us really know how much work things take except for the dev team. We can only guess.

Very true, I am not on the dev team, but I am basing my theory on how graphic mods seem to work on the game :change the local model and texture file and the game will simply use that instead. Confirming that the display choice is fully client side and merely a reference number. Something that should be easily toggleable. .. Should be.
