Heck, you strengthen the case for the potion-make mage I proposed with that picture since it would use the same DoM mage clothing the game has established.

There's no point in making new jobs identical to existing ones.

BRD, MCH and DNC all have very different aesthetics despite sharing gear.
There's absolutely no reason to keep the same aesthetics for all healers.
Healers all being the same is the biggest complaint about them.

You're purposely conflating the points of discussion.

1. How is using chemist's theme in a magical way making a job identical to existing ones?
2. Chemist's problem isn't aesthetics, it's role and classification
3. So you're saying chemist would be the same as all healers just because it enchants liquids with magic incantations instead of potion vials/bottles?

A DoW healer will never exist, unless you add magic to it that's what chemist ends up being; DoW.
