Anyways, I'm against the implementation of spanish if it'll result in localization of content and patches to be delayed.
    IF
Learnt to read yet?...good. Now, see that magic word "IF"? I said I'd be against the additional language IF it were to conflict and delay localization. I never once assumed, by default, that it would. I'm just stating that I would vote against it if it came to it slowing the pace of patch releases.

Anyways, its funny how the friendly Argentinian guy, Vax, who actually lives in South America agreed with my post, yet the others are flaming me. I forgot that the official forums are full of hot-winded people who have to have things their way, no matter what. I mean, look at how you people address the localization and development teams sometimes. It's downright disrespectful.

Now stop being butthurt that someone doesn't agree with your petition :/

What people are being disrespectful to the dev and loc teams? I missed this. Also, many people on this thread are also from South America and I haven't heard anything from them on this.

Which basically leads to the idea that either think:

    1) People at SE work 9 jobs each on average, and creating a Spanish localization team would actually take ~20 people away from the various existing teams, or

    2) Content is translated to each language one-at-a-time. Rather than make 3 copies of the Japanese content and allow the various localization teams to work simultaneously, they pass the Japanese script to the English team, who passes the script to the French team when they're done, and then to the DE team finally. OR, you could be under the impression that there is actually one incredible team of people who speak all four languages. In this case, they would have to work on one translation at a time, and they would have to stop content for a month or so to learn a fifth/sixth language.

My point is, I think you're smarter than to believe either of those. I think you knew that it was not an "If."

Argentinian guy? Are back to the "no girls on the internet" idea? Oh well, you may know something I don't. Then you go on to make more generalizations in this post. All people are different from you, and all people address the dev/loc teams wrongly. You are the only person who does it right. The rest of "us people" are ALL people who do it wrong.

    Well played.

My petition? I'm sorry, I didn't know you stalked me. But since you tried, I guess I'll tell you to work on your stalking skills.

    I live here:

And have spoken English since I was born. I teach it to non-native speakers for the college I attend.

I wasn't involved in this until you were. I support it, but it doesn't involve me directly. You likely offended a lot of people (I would be offended if you called my country poor), and didn't really contribute anything to the conversation. It already had its dev post, people were just saying "Oh well, that means no..." or "Yay, there's still hope!"

Than you rolled in and said, basically, "I don't think this game should be translated if it slows down production [1) everyone said that this was not priority and, 2) like I said I doubt you're stupid enough to think it would]. SE couldn't profit from a Spanish translation because South America is too poor to run the game." Did that really contribute anything? No. Bye.
