We should get exp boost in the game.

Your request is pointless.
1) I am really glad that this game ISNT a wow clone and I know that a lot of other people feel that way too.
2) There's this thing called armoury bonus that gives your alt jobs an exp boost.
3) in the case of your main job, you will have to do MSQ anyways and that gives you a tonne of experience regardless. Especially if you do your daily roulettes with the MSQ
4) if you want to skip the msq jump pots are a thing.
5) After numerous complaints about the length of ARR the Devs are going to revamp the MSQ next patch.
Everything your asking for already exists/ will exist in game. Just because you can't level your main job to max level in a day or two doesn't mean that there aren't tools to speed up the process.
Really friggin tired of people asking for WOW features in a game that (thank goodness) isn't WOW.

While I don't agree with her, her point isn't alt classes persay.. she has alt characters. So she wants a way to skip the story on other characters. Again jump pots like you mentioned - and me too - but her issues isn't the alt classes as she stated she doesn't believe one character should do it all. Which is odd... I love that feature. More mmos need that D:

Oh, then honestly I'm all for it, making an alt character able to be skipped to the end game (when your main character has already reached endgame) is something I support.
If using the jump potion for stories and jobs would give you an option to go straight to the start of the latest patch, and go max to 80 (if the job you chose to max to 80 is something you have already maxed on your main character)

It'd be a lot easier and a lot less time consuming to make alts for weekly lockouts and to play on other datacenters.

That (and a few other bits) specifically is something the devs don’t really want you to be able to do easily.

Being able to have insta-alts allows raiders to do their weekly raids up to 8 times (w/ 8 possible characters), which can lead to an unhealthy play style. In addition, since I can skip to 50+...through loopholes, I could suddenly now be the proud owner of 8 FCs with 8 houses. Point being it’s not hard to get to 80 on a new character, but there is enough of a deterrent that most wouldn’t do it.
