Don’t get me wrong I enjoy a good story, HW, SB and ShB kept my attention. Even though the quality of the cutscenes are bad I like the story. I don’t agree forcing people to watch it over and over again should be the solution. We also can’t just go in the defense and say others might want to see it when we don’t know that. The solo instance thing isn’t solving the problem. Might as well just make the scenes skippable again or take it out of roulette all together if you’re making it solo. What’s the point?

What are we really missing in these important cutscenes that need to be seen over and over again? Take Castrum Meridianum, is it necessary to have a cutscene for the first boss to enter? Why not have a in game animation of him entering the combat zone? Perhaps have the boss jump in with style. Same with the second boss why not make the boss fly in game after we plant the explosives and the players enter the boss arena. Why do we need a cutscene?

Cid talking, why can’t a voice actor talk while we move to the next adds or next objective? Keep the game flowing no need to stop it with each cutscenes. It worked great in SB The Ghimlyt Dark dungeon. You got action going on and NPCs talking. I wish they were all voices acted but it’s still good.

They just need to revamp a few parts in the dungeon and get the voice actor to talk. The boss intros need to be in game and not cutscenes.

The towers turning off could’ve been explosive or something. Maybe make the camera focus on the towers switching off while we run forward. that way we see the visuals in game as the action goes on.
