Nailed it girl! Nailed it.
Like, no...fix it so these two always give full credit. Sorta like the pvp roulette. Whether or not you win you get full credit (just not as many marks.) they could still make it worthwhile even for those groups that would be able to skip cutscenes. There's no need to suck an hour of our lives away for something most have seen dozens of times.
So you'd get the same, max reward for getting a 15 minute Castrum with no cutscenes, as you would for an hour Praetorium with cutscenes?Like, no...fix it so these two always give full credit. Not gonna happen. People will eat the 30m penalty to get that 15m Castrum and still be in credit.
Don't want to sink an hour into the roulette? Then don't run the roulette. Once again, there are various ways of getting a similar amount of EXP in a similar time.
If the exp isn’t worth the time to you, then don’t queue up for them.Like, no...fix it so these two always give full credit. Sorta like the pvp roulette. I'd like to think players wouldn't leave a dungeons because it would be max length and take a 30 min penalty just on the off chance the next time they que for it (after another 10 min or so que) might only take 15 min. It would still take roughly an hour. I'd like to think most players aren't that braindead...also, if they allowed this it would likely make the que times shorter since busy players who otherwise avoid these two otherwise guarenteed hour-long dungeons might be more willing to take a shot with it.So you'd get the same, max reward for getting a 15 minute Castrum with no cutscenes, as you would for an hour Praetorium with cutscenes?

The point is that i do like the content, but would it really be so bad to be able to punch through these two dungeons without having to watch netflix or youtube to stay entertained? There are surely ways to make something that most players could recite verbatim along with the npc less tedious and lengthy. Every single day. After all, the autoskip feature is available for absolutely everything else. "Just don't do it" is not an argument designed to improve the quality of what we're discussing. It's the same as saying "just play another game" or even "get gud."

You've never watched a favorite movie so many times you get sick of it, no matter how much you once enjoyed it? Never been around many kids? The kids still love it, of course, so you definitely need to play it, but you can't even be in the same room.
