BLM had to use Diversion on cooldown.Threat was already nearly entirely vestigial come Stormblood. You pulled with tank stance and did maybe one or two threat comboes and then you went full dps mode.
Tanks stances were just something SE had an idea for, and it literally never worked out like they wanted it to.
The only time threat mattered is on openers where people forgot to use diversion(Which really isn't that interesting of a gameplay addition), or on aggro resets(In which Exdeath murders the white mage) where you throw a shield lob or equivalent and proceed as normal.
Inb4 "no they didn't" thus revealing they didnt play it well.
