Predictions for 5.3?

As far as the alternate timeline goes, and I know people have said this before, Emet-selch is still alive in that timeline. I kind of wonder if he caught wind of the Ironworks and Exarch's plan and stowed away and is the shoebill sometimes. Seems too simple though, to be something unpredictable.

I like the Atomos idea, but considering Atomos is voidsent rather than an almost deity like creature in XIV, I don't think that would be likely.

There's also an Echo vision the WoL has right at the end as the GC leaders are all speeching it up and celebrating victory over Ultima Weapon/XIVth legion where he sees Hydaelyn and the Shards as crystals of darkness. I wonder if or how that will ever play into anything.

The quest after Minfilia merges with Ryne is called Crossroads. Roads are meant to be walked. Look to those who walked before, to lead those who walk after... The Road that we walked is lost in the flood...
We went one way, she went another in an alternate timeline. Same for every action we did or did not take.

Every time we log into the game what do we hear? The Shadowbringers theme song. It tells us that we will want for nothing, nothing denied. Wandering ended, Futures aligned.

In the lyrics to A Long Fall from The Twinning, a selection of lyrics from eScape is played remixed. eScape was and is stupidly prophetic. Locus being the boss theme needs to be examined closely as well, but that's another point.
