    1. No hate decay over time.
    2. If hate is equal, first person will hold the mob.

    based on the above two statement, if there is indeed a hate cap and hate does not decay over time, mob should never turn to the person catching up during the test.
    The tester explained this as not being an absolute cap, but rather a relative cap; you can only have 27000 enmity over the lowest other person on the list. Therefore, if two people are on the hate list, the lower one has 100 enmity, and you have generated 35000 enmity, you are floored to 27100 and (barring any additional enmity generated by you) the lower person would overtake you after generating 27001 enmity.

    So in theory... if 1 person has 100... and the tank is capped at 27100... as long as the person at 100 never generates any more enmity... no one else in the party can possibly pull hate from the tank???

    discuss.....

    I don't know if this would ever come into play on anything short of Pandemonium Warden. 27000 appears to take a long time to gain, especially considering that the cap should keep going up unless someone is leeching. ^^;

    My question though, is what happens when someone dies and gets on the hate list again--does everyone above 27000 immediately drop to 27000 cap plus whatever amount of emnity the revived player gains? If an ability is used that lowers emnity for the person with the least emnity, does the cap go back down?

    As I understand it, you still lose enmity when you take damage, so the moment the tank took any damage, he would lose hate.

    Enmity Testing 2
    [Does enmity decrease over time or decrease depending on damage received?]

    In a certain eleventh game, when enemies beat you up, your enmity decreased. At least, that's the impression I got.
    This is a rather important subject to test, as all future test results will take this test's results into consideration.

    □検証結果
    ヘイト減衰は無し!
    Conclusion:
    Enmity does not decrease!
    Kaeko's testing post 1.18/pre-1.20 came to the same conclusion.. as did my own tests
