    Primal Drop System, Totem/Nut Charm and Taper/Keystone: Infos about it?

    Hello everyone,
    With the upcoming Patch 1.21 a lot of new features will be implemented and, since there is no Official Patch Notes yet, I'd like to ask to Dev Team if there will be some updates for Primal Drop System.
    It's been said that the Dev Team was thinking about changing it, making a 100% Drop for Totem/Nut Charm but less in number or something like that. But since then, no news have been released, and now with 1.21 imminent I'm curious to know infos about this.

    On the other hand I'd like to mark the uselessness of Tapers/Keystones.
    - If you win the fight you have to wait 15 mins
    - In this time you can easily collect 10 Tapers/Keystones
    Well, I can understand that this can be a method to spend time between a fight and the next one, but it's a loss of time. From my point of view there are three possible solutions:
    1. Wait 15 mins without the need of Tapers/Keystones (To collect all 7 weapons you have to win over 100+ times = 1000+ Keystones!)
    2. Remove 15 mins wait, and keep the Tapers/Keystones system. In this way people that have for example 20 Keystones can immediatly re-enter the BC
    3. Adjust drop rate/drop system. (No duplicates, Key Items instead of Weapons to trade with Rowena, ecc.)

    I would like them to fix it as well these drop rates make me sic after 100+ wins no ifrit claws just 5 thm weps and a bow.... and my arc isn't no where near 50 lol.

    Also the drop system Yoshi was talking about doing was just as bad as the current one.

    by the time I had 9 totems and was waiting on my last one to be done forever, I got the last weapon to drop to me. I lost track of how many times I did the fight, I was sad I couldnt have given those totems to someone else lol

    I dont get why it just doesnt go to loot and can be dished out, so silly, boggles my mind.

    I agree i just want my claws and this shit is taking forever about time i get them the fight will be not important anymore.

    Be nice if they removed the untradable feature from the totems instead. The totems cannot be put in a bazaar, or in the wards to counter people selling them for profit. Well okay they still can by doing shouts, but that can be done right now anyway. As it stands there's no current incentive for people who have all the weapons to go again. Now if they don't want to do this... There's another incentive...

    Allow trading of already earned weapons to either your Grand Company for a large sum of seals, or an exchange service on these as well for other primal weapons. Say if you want the moogle weapons you must fight Moggle Mog and win at least once. After that you can exchange excess Ifrit weapons to get a moogle weapon. Make it something like 1 weapon and 3 inferno totems. This would allow people who have like 3 copies of Ifrit's Sword to exchange it for something of value.

    At least let me switch the weapon for another 1 I have a bow i don't want and its pissing me off i wanna just toss the PoS.

    In my opinion it seems like they were worried that a loot pool system would mean everyone is done with the content within a month and since its starting to get 1-2 months between each patch update people would get bored. Keeping it as it is means the content lasts much longer, yeah its annoying but they most likey knew we would get on with it anyway. Now if they did introduce a loot pool system like DH, then they would have to lower the drop rates so that the content isnt completed quickly. This would no doubt result in another lengthy forum post on the topic but i think it would still be a improvement on what we have now.

    I've done prob close to 200 Ifrit battles, I have 5/7 and have only had 2 duplicate drops (bow and sword) in that time, one of my weps was got with 10 totems and I currently have 6 totems in inventory. I went into a party a few weeks ago, 1 guy in pty was new to Ifrit and this was his first fight, we fought Ifrit 6 times in a row, all wins, he got 3 weapons and 1 totem, I got about 40DM.... cmon SE, fix this!

    No problem with drop rate, remove totem system, items drop to loot, DONE.
