One oddity is that Noah van Gabranth, in all his appearances (back in the Ivalice raids and here), looks Garlean. As in, they use the Elezen skeleton (and emotes) that many Garlean NPCs use.

We can see this in the final stinger cutscene with him and Menenius rem Lanatus. They're the same height and standing pose (ie Elezen), and Menenius has the Elezen ear-pockets in his headgear.

So either Noah is pureblooded Garlean, or he's Elezen.
