I can only sell 30 with 2 retainers, 10 on each retainer and 10 on my character for sell at one time. Not to mention all my supplies I earned as I miner I chose to keep as I leveld so I can also level armorer and blacksmith. all the other rings I have I need to store somewhere untill I sell them or else I am losing money leveling a DoH, and that in my eyes defeats the purpose of having leveled said DoH.
I have all classes at 50 already. Most of my crafting classes were leveled before we had 500 inventory space, simultaneously, and even then I never really had inventory issues. I just kept what I needed at the time and sold the rest, even if what I was selling was something I'd need later. I can always buy it again, gil doesn't take up inventory space.

The main problem I see here is inventory management. Some people just tend to hold onto everything they'll ever need then complain about lack of inventory. Why not just sell the stuff you know you're not going to use for a while and buy it back later? 500 inventory space is absolutely massive, and unless you're saving a couple hundred materia to make M4/5 gear, then there's no reason anyone should ever run out of space.

Again, I'm not opposing the option to buy more retainers. I'm just saying, in the mean time, learn how to manage your inventory better and don't hold onto crap that you're not going to use in the near future. As far as selling rings in the market wards, you'll be selling them for the next year, most people just npc them.
