Wait do people actually fall for those links? I thought that was a joke.

White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
They've been taking to impersonating both popular Twitch streamers and Youtubers as of late, so I can sort of understand why some people fall for it.
The problem is that regardless of how they're trying to scam people, they'll require you to input your log-in info at some point, which is entirely unneeded for whatever it is they're asking of you (Generally referring you to what's supposedly a post on the official forums, which CAN be viewed without being logged in).
But dude! There are hot Russian girls in my area that want to meet me and they need my credit card details!
In all seriousness, as many have said, you'd be surprised by what people fall for. I had a friends family member who bricked thier computer by following an email link telling them they had won an Iphone.

Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
