Petition to Increase Old Alliance Raids' Difficulty

You want a dead roulette? Because thats how you get a dead roulette.

Most people dont do it daily for the great enjoyment of level synced alliance raid experience (please note the sarcasm in my tone). They do it for the relatively fast and decent rewards. You can up the rewards, and the roulette could stay relatively healthy (see MSQ roulette), but you would still shut out a great many number of people.

Why not ask for a separate min ilvl roulette? I would very much like to see how popular that would be.

This might deter a few people, sure, but it's not much different than getting any of the HW or SB raids via roulette. People have to do the mechanics in those (mostly) and yet people still queue up and stay. The roulette wouldn't be in any danger of dying just because things might take an extra 5-10 minutes. Those who didn't want to put much effort into things would have left regardless of whether there was a slight uptick in difficulty or not because they wanted something easier. Personally, I'm of the opinion that they should make most mechanics in the Crystal Tower raids triggered by HP levels instead of time, without any delays. That way dps would burn down the boss fast, but the mechanics would still need to be done.
