That's fine. I just think, if SE doesn't give you want you want, it's not because SE doesn't care, but more like not everyone in the community agrees.
I'll admit I'm the same. If it's just people haven't unlocked anything but CT that's fine. But at least give LOTA, ST, and VA a bit more bite. If the difficulty was around equal for each, then people would just take the roll of the dice mostly. Of course, there will be those that try to fish for that specific one, because it's worth cheesing for even a 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% efficiency increase (yes, a tiny handful WILL be that extreme about it. If I cared about min-maxing I would be one of them that would). It's gotten to the point that I rarely do Alliance Raid roulette because it's so boring. I just minimise how much I do it to avoid CT burnout. Also, I'm one of those that finds Orbonne, Ridorana, Factory, etc, a lot of fun. I do hope they keep the difficulty. One thing I would do for the CT raids though, is standardise the markers. That way you can ilvl sync them, but veteran players will be able to see certain markers and realise "Ok, that's what I have to do". Example: they see a marker with arrows pointing towards a player from multiple angles, they know to stack.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
They have done a lot, a whole lot of things that only a very small and very select group ever wanted and most others were either against or unconcerned about it. The reason for it was because they were very vocal, absurdly so in some cases. You need to practically stand outside of SE HQ and scream and jump up and down as you wave banners or spell out messages in Yoshida's alphabet soup, for anything to be taken into consideration and then you are lucky if its gets done with any real effort.
But since we cannot do that...there is this thread. Cause that's how things are done.
Well that doesn't necessarily contradict what I said. If people can do it for those other issues, but not for this, that still shows a difference in community reaction to this supposed issue. They have done a lot, a whole lot of things that only a very small and very select group ever wanted and most others were either against or unconcerned about it. Difficulty increase sounds great until you get a bunch of carries combined with a go go mentality player who opens loot boxes preventing kicks. Leaving you two choices 1. suck it up and see it through 2. Leave eating abandon debuff and try again in 30 minutes. 3. Try your luck at kicking people. Difficulty does not stop the carry mentality and go go go mentality players, just makes their actions more painful. Need ask yourselves is ending your bordem worth the pain and hassle they bring??
Just looking for opinions and how people feel knowing they will run into this, not like we dont run into already.

Alliance Raid Roulette is one I do for poetics, and only for that reason. If it were made more difficult, thus making it take longer and requiring me to actually pay attention, I would stop doing it. I have plenty other options for challenge, I don't need, nor want, it from outdated raid content.
I'll pass. I think for new players, it's less stress. I knew someone going through Crystal Tower who actually watched a guide because they were tanking and didn't want to inconvenience anyone despite me telling them it wasn't that serious. And they saw firsthand how it really wan't. And for vets be they experienced or rusty, it's a nice break from Ravana (Hard). Again. When going down roulettes.
This only makes it more fun. Chaos and deaths is exactly what I'm hoping to see when I go into a raid.Difficulty increase sounds great until you get a bunch of carries combined with a go go mentality player who opens loot boxes preventing kicks. And if there are any early pullers - just let them die :P
And less experience. They won't learn nor they will ever experience old raids the way they used to be.
Tonight I finished gathering and crafting a set of ilevel 70 armor and accessories to use for when I get LotA and ST. I figured if I get stuck with this crap, I may as well try to make things more interesting and spiritbond some materia in the process. I also have other plans for how to make the raids more interesting.
That's cute, you think I'm stuck in here with you. In reality, you're stuck in here with me!
Hmm think you missed what I am saying. I am talking about tanks who pull iron gaints to meteors on King Behemoth letting entire groups get cleaved. Repeatedly wiping to ancient flare cause a bunch of tards wont run to pads that kind of nonsense. WoD people grabbing chains and not hooking them to cereberus..ya had this one happen once. Healers not healing during the mass aoe on bone dragon. The simple one person will die stuff who cares its the kill multiple people or the whole raid mechanics that people need to think about. Are you ready to tolerate one or more people repeatedly failing simple mechanics wiping the raid over and over?
