I know people who have had no choice but to not pay for subscriptions because they are either too broke buying supplies to prepare for isolation

If you're panicbuying to bunker yourself indoors in an attempt to hide from the weakest strain of the COV family, you're doing it wrong, and deserve to lose everything you end up losing as a result, in life or online.

I was clearly referring to the fact that covid-19 clearly can do a lot more to us as a society than just make us sick with something resembling a flu.

Yup, its proving that all it takes is one or two people standing up and yelling "THERES AN INFECTION THATS POSSIBLY GOING TO KILL EVERYONE, YOU SHOULD PANIC AND HIDE INDOORS" to set off global mass hysteria to the point where several European countries are now fining you if you go outside without permission.

Numptyflu is showing us that it takes almost nothing for any government in the world to decide you just dont get to have rights anymore, you have to trade them all for the illusion of security.



The US has 61 deaths from the Wuflu since the start of the hysteria, the majority were old people located in one specific nursing home.

You are more likely to die or suffer any long-term complications just going about your day normally in Chicago than you are letting people literally cough into your mouth and nose (unless you have respiratory issues) in an attempt to be infected.


Unless we learn that covid19 has some supermagic powers that include "not being similar to every other COV strain" (which based on everything anyone working on medical research [myself included, hithere!] has seen, it absolutely doesnt), I wish nothing more than businesses that are panic closing, conventions that panic shuttered, and any company urging people to hide in a hole like its the end of days goes bankrupt and never reopens, and those people in charge of making those statements never get hired by another company and find themselves living in a hole until the end of theirs.

Its sheer and utter lunacy.

What about people who are struggling financially now because their workplace has either closed down or cut down hours because of the virus?

Most states have opened up unemployment benefits to any workers who are now working less than half they were before doxequisfever gripped the nation, which based on their apportionment, is enough for necessities and some extra spending. Most states are also not going to shut off utilities during that time.
