the buzzwords probably sounded a lot better to them when they weren't translated so we could read them. A lot of meaning vanishes when equivelent words and thrown in without the same context.

What does that even mean? When designing a game, you don't need pointless buzzwords to make it good, instead you need a strong design philosophy that progresses the genre, and you need to be confident in its implementation.
I don't know either, but catchy slogans worked for Obama. Bomb Libya without asking congress? Yes he can!

Justing aside, I'd like an answer to that as well. Where is SE trying to take this game? If they can't answer that, how do they expect to keep people interested? How are they supposed to make people watch for it "to be fixed" if they don't know what the fix really is? Is all they are doing is minor repair work to what was originally done or what?

I haven't played GW 2 so I have no idea whether they achieved this, but the point is: the idea is there and it forms the basis for every one of their designs.
Judging from the PAX east gameplay footage (I think it was) that I saw, yeah they've got that working.

Fun = make the game more enjoyable

Reboot & Rebuild = Restructure the world of Eorzea. Creating new ideas and rebuilding some of the old ones.

Live = Do it while keeping the Servers running

    There ya go!

TO is getting on my nerves. Specifically having multiple classes that are lagging behind my main's and trying to get them leveled without dying too much.

I just want this game to be fun. =(

So far it's just been a grindfest... yeah, the main storyline is pretty intriguing. Aside from that though... I don't really have any objectives other than to level. I want other fun things to do. In XI, they had missions for obtaining higher ranks. Just little things like those were really fun, and a little different because they forced you to explore places you usually wouldn't have.

As much as I liked XI, it was super grindy. I'd be happy if FFXIV had similar traits to XI... just with less of an intense grind and more fun things to do. I guess having actual quests instead of guildleves would help. Guildleves are alright... but they should be kind of like a "daily" quest type of jawn, and not people's main means of leveling.

I think Gifthorse is saying that we need to know what direction this relationship is going, or it's breakup time.

From the tone of your post, I'm guessing you have the same hatred for NCSoft as I do.
Count me in on the NCSoft hate train. GW2 actually looks to be a groundbreaking game, but the fact that NCSoft is attached to it in any way, shape, or form makes it an instant dealbreaker. Customer service and NCSoft are an oxy moron. Does that company actually employ GMs....?

NCsoft doesn't develop guild wars... nor does it employ Arenanet's staff. It just owns the company as a subsidiary.

But whatever, if you consider some irrational phobia of a corporation (that doesn't even develop the game) to be an instant deal breaker, then it's really only your loss.
