    I like gathering the way it is, it's actually quite relaxing and I also like that you need to put a bit of an effort to lvl it (as it is a completely different job).

    And OP - can you pls write a bit more annoyingly your next post, I think you didn't tick every nerve in my body... only like 80%. (/sarcasmoff)

    I like how it is but wish some things were limited by the node grade. I hate it when gathering at a lvl 3 node and I get moko grass or cotton balls more than what I am actually after.

    I wouldn't want a list per se but rather some way of targeting a specific item or lower the number of possible item types per node.
    Ie....this node you sense lavender, midland Basil, and popotos can be obtained here.

    Like a new ability in line with arbor call.

    That is an awful idea, to be completely honest. Competition in gathering? No, that's the last thing we need. Yeah let's make it so the RMT can monopolize everything and encourage more hostility and animosity toward other players. Not to mention the fact that it would make leveling a gathering class infinitely more difficult.

    In my opinion gathering is fine as it is. I can stand to do the gathering mini-game all day long, it's crafting that I actually can't stand. Instead of making gathering more boring, let's make crafting more fun. Or make both more fun and interesting, hell there's a new and original idea.

    It doesn't include fishing but I can vouch that for mining and botany, you can get the item you want a vast majority of the time if you follow that.

    And I like the idea you are mentioning there, although an other mini-game I would like are quicktime events.
    Like, you click the mine, you need to press something like 'Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, Down, Up', Item aqcuired!
    I know a ton of ppl will hate it, but it's my idea of making it more fun

    This. I would like to see the different nodes restricted to one or a couple different raw materials and labelled that way too. If I was a real botanist I would definitely know what would give me timber or what would give me mahogany. So label them and differentiate them for us please. This is very important especially for realism and immersion. Last time I chopped some bamboo in my backyard I didn't get any roses from it.

    Almost same opinion with Gath has me - game sd be fun, otherwise other games are more fun. I like the second hand tools and minigames, not the main tools/minigames. I use keyboard only and have medium strong pc with rapid connection though. It happens often that I cannot handle the minigame. Something like server dsnt reply quickly enough. And it's stupid robotting. I liked also see what I'm gathering like it is in TOR for example. Huge or small, red or blue jewels etc. If I go to fetch some carrots from my back yard, I'm not playing a roulette with my neighbour, I just pick it up. And when fishing - I like to see how big it is...

    Some selfnamed real botanist have not played the class since 1.19, I think
    Or you should know that since 1.19 each grade area have only 1 wood type. Mahagony you find on Iron Lake and only mahagony there. No other wood type on Iron Lake.

    A timber item is not ingame.
