I forgot to mention about my musings about Hythlodaeus that apparently the 5.2 dungeon seems to have a lot to do with his position? Also the line about the Elidibus - could be "he never became the core" or that I still think that Hythlodaeus has some involvement with one or both of the primals since he is the Architect. I highly doubt he just didn't know.
Sadly, I fear Hythlodaeus, as interesting as a character he has the potential to be (have been?), seems to be one of those 'one-time plot-exposition device' characters. So even if it makes sense for him to be involved in some way shape or form in regards to the 'Will of the Star' projects, I am not hopeful for him to be incorporated any deeper into the story.
