Maybe you should get over your need to police others, because that's sounding like a real "you" issue and not a "them" issue. People can do what they like, and if you don't like it, you go somewhere else.

I hate rap music. I don't go to a rap show and tell them to tailor their expression to my taste. Why? Because I'd get punched in the face, and rightfully so. I just don't go to said show. Because I know I don't like it.

Do you seriously think it's wrong to make a remark in that situation? If my coworker refused to stop wearing creepy frog costume, I would try to ignore it. If it ends up continually bothering and distracting me, I'll go tell HR. If HR won't do anything about it, I'll just deal with it and accept the distraction. It wouldn't be an enormous issue to me, just like it shouldn't be an enormous issue for my creepy frog coworker to wear something normal.

Now if HR gave me some kind of magic glasses that I can put on that would transform my frog coworker's appearance into something normal (in my vision only), we'd all be happy.

Except its a video game not an actual job requiring serious behavior. Your feel distracted by people having fun in a video game over what makes it so special and joyfull, the diversity. If y'all want that bland NPC lookalike world, you came to the wrong neighborhood.
