    As for suggestions:

    -I liked the idea of Reuse, but having it combined with Reclaim made it too strong. If I had to choose between either of those two, I'd like to see Reclaim being re-added to the game.
    -Bring back Steady Hand (II), Patient Touch/Rapid Synthesis feel way too RNG heavy without it.
    -The Whistle While You Work system was interesting enough, with the way it worked in Stormblood and the start of Shadowbringers, even if I didn't use it all that often.

    Don't really have any suggestions about the reward structure, since I'm not really sure how SE can improve on it. If they increase the crafted gear iLvl to the equivalent of tomestone/savage gear, it might devalue said gear. If they keep it at the current iLvl tier, players might not be willing to drop a mountain of gil on obtaining it. Making the recipe acquisition to be high difficult might also cause players to not bother with it, as a good amount of it is purchased for progression raiding (although that could be avoided by releasing the recipe books on the odd numbered patches).

    Reclaim, which has been in the game since the release of ARR, wasn't really an issue until they added Reuse.

    Blessed tools being more unique, in both the designs of the tools and the workbenches. Both the main hand and off hand tools should glow when crafting and when unsheathed!!

    Been thinking about the Grandmaster recipe idea. Well here is my take on how it should work.

    - Grandmaster items can only be crafted to HQ no NQ version.
    - Reaching HQ will require making use of the new proc being brought in with Expert recipes.
    - Crafting Grandmaster item will require all HQ mats no NQ version.
    - To access Grandmaster recipes you take a quest in which you must craft a Grandmaster test item. Pass the test and the recipes are unlocked.
    - Fail a Grandmaster recipe and all materials involved are lost
    - High Craftsmen and control requirements.

    Essentially going for Risk vs Reward with what I laid out here. The purpose of the Grandmaster test item I think is a good idea, if you cant pass the test then there is no point in you having access to the recipes.

    See, we already see eye to eye now. What you suggested is absolutely perfect. Don’t see a thing wrong with it! Realistically, Square would probably incur a penalty if you fail the Grandmaster Recipes entrance quest. Like for example... “1 week timer until you are eligible to attempt Grandmaster Recipes again.” Heck even if it’s just a 24 hour penalty, that’s honestly good enough for me. That is like, one hell of a challenge!

    Good to hear I dont mind grinds have plenty of games that ask for it. Even dont mind a challenge depending on where and how its presented, Did pitoss dungeon in FF15 6 hours of Hell but loved it. As for this idea just thought lets test knowledge of the system with player investment on the line. If you fail the price will sting, successed and the "Omg I DID IT" feeling with riches will be yours.

    A one week timer seems a bit extreme. A daily attempt could work, but only if they first develop a system that allows the player to continue a craft after getting disconnected. It'd suck to lose out on an attempt, simply by getting 90k'd.
    That said, with a steep entrance quest like that, what kind of items would be made through these grandmaster recipes?

    Outside of the cool looking crafting gear. Transmogs,minions, bardings stuff of that nature the quest gate will help them keep their value. Being that there are rich players with homes who are not crafters some could be added to furniture (hating myself on this one but I will live)

    I feel like they need to start having BoP materials involved in high end crafts for the sake of helping curb market oversaturation.

    As things currently stand, farm bots are able to dominate the economy as they can simply purchase everything they need off of the marketboard and churn out items endlessly. If they needed to, say, start actually participating in non-DoL/H content in order to get the materials they need craft stuff, it probably would help make them a lot less problematic while only being a mild inconvenience to actual players (If you could even call it that).
