I think repetitive arguments should be bannable. Page 3 etc may as well be page 23 at this point and having less of a purpose.

With what was said in the picture, it's reason to ban any repeat use of any skills with no exceptions. Someone could decide they don't like a player in a instance and use this to abuse the system to get them temporary banned, aka suspended.

I know this thread is all memey now, but hasn't this always been the case? I thought that's why they got rid of a dragoon spell in the past, because people were abusing it on a large scale to cause annoyance?

No. Ring of thorns was removed to streamline the AOEs classes could deliver, not because it was annoying. Wide Volley, Flaming Arrow, Shadowflare (for SCH) were removed

Guess I have to report all the people doing ocean fishing and spam desynthing fishes now. It is really annoying, they deserve a ban too.

Whats with all these strange arguments? How can we even compare them? One is an action you normally only do against monsters which people spam where no monster is (thus its only use is to annoy) while the one with the fishes are using it the intended way..(And I guess if someone is following you and uses this action again and again to troll you, you still might be able to report them..but the normal action in that context is not spam)

Oh come on..whats with that argument that GM should suddenly ban people in instances where the use of the spell is necessary? Just be a nice person and I am quite sure you wont be banned. If you want to spam spells spam it in a house with your friends.

If you do something like that which annoys people then deal with the punishment, learn from it and move on.

If you don't like it just disable effects and mute sounds that aren't coming from 'yourself' in the settings. Would be pretty logic to do that, wouldn't it?

Not an adequate solution, no. Some people, myself included, like seeing/hearing those effects... when they're actually being properly used in combat. Not just being uselessly spammed dozens of times in the middle of the city square for no material effect.
