That's not really a good way of checking blue mage progress, I had both the weapon and the minion the moment I had the option to buy them. I've been capped on allied seals for a very long time, and will be again before blue mage has more allied seal optionsI wasn't talking about the morbol amount, I was referring to how active BLU Mage content in general was in the PF. There were, and still are, parties for extreme primals, raids, dungeon runs for spells, and for BLU log completion. Instead of looking at the numbers for the morbol mount, try looking at the numbers for the cute justice minion or the lvl 60 weapon, and you will find that the amount of people farming allied seals from BLU is much higher (trust me, they aren't farming ARR hunts instead)
BLU was absolutely dead on my Data Center within 2 weeks of release. Only 3 people in my entire FC even leveled one to 60. It looks like it has potential to be fun, but a pittance in Allied Seals just isn't an incentive.
Thank you. I can't speak for the light data center (Zodiark), but Hyperion and the rest of Primal saw the same kind of activity that you are describing here.
The same thing on Aether. Granted my center is one of (if not the biggest), but doesn't take away that I see frequent PF for spells, logs and the occasional Discord plug for the mount. I even saw a PF for Weeping City yesterday. Though I don't think making a PF for that a day before a major patch was a good idea.
I'm on crystal and I can tell you that the PF blue groups that actually fill are few and far between since the last month or so. Yeah you see the same old PFs up for the same old dungeons for latecomers trying to get the same old spells everyone else already has like aetherial mimicry and missile and whatever, but for all the other stuff? No, it's dead jim. If you're trying PF to get log entries done that don't have a coveted spell in them, or trying for 24-man, EX primal or Morbol mount runs at this point, you're wasting your time. Even if you sometimes see a PF up, it won't fill before people get tired and disband. Discord is still a viable option for Morbol runs I believe, but PF isn't going to get you anywhere unless you're lucky enough to get a pre-made that is just looking to fill in one or two spots.

Thats typical of many pieces of content during the games lull period. There are simply far less players playing, and BLU doesn't incentivize joining spell learning parties if you already have the spell. I guarantee that if SE implements a kind of "first time bonus" for aquiring BLU spells, those parties would fill much better.
BLU has a lot of room to grow, and it'll just keep getting better the more QoL they add.
So I ran a few solo dungeon runs today, level 50s going back for spells I haven't gotten yet.
And it is remarkably satisfying to Level 5 Death a whole pack of trash. Was also pleasantly surprised at the bosses I was able to Missile down as well.
It may still be unfortunate that it's not widely usable. But, I think it's still pretty fun to have leveled for doing stuff in older zones if I'm ever passing through. And I certainly enjoy the puzzle of figuring out how to handle new Carnival stages.
Putting together BLU parties is too much of a hassle. Can we get a roulette system for BLU please?
Is there a way to see that thread in English? I can't read Japanese and I'm curious what the rest of those numbers mean.
Extremely popular is a bit of a stretch, the far right column is the number of people on each datacenter who have gotten the morbal mount, obviously this not counting people who are running other content but for perspective in the best cases BLU has had Half as many people clear it on some datacenters than have cleared ultimate or in some cases <1% of the active datacenter population.
As someone on EU Light I see maybe 1 maybe 2 PFs fill a day for BLU content if youre lucky, and if you arn't queuing with the BLU discord at their time your pf basically wont fill for weekly target. Some of the active members there even estimated it takes 6+ hours for pfs to fill on average. It has been this way for over a month.
