I think I see why action was taken on you LolitaBansheeMeru. BL means boys love in manga and generally is associated with homoerotic content written in such a way as to give the viewer a voyeuristic, stylized view of male-to-male romances. Most (not all) content is of a sexually explicit nature (as in R to X rated). Like I said, there is always a reason GM's take action and I suspect THAT is why.

From what I read (unless I missed something) the GM never confirmed anywhere in that conversation that it was holy that he was talking about. All he said was "you spammed and ability" and before that he even said he couldn't disclose specific details about the incident. The offender proceeded to assume it was because of holy and stuck by that as that being the reason. Im willing to bet he was banned for using an ability that came with a macro or something that filled the chat log as that is supported by the fact that the GM himself said he was flooding the chat. The holy incident was probably something else entirely that the GM wasn't even aware of until he mentioned it. He probably screenshotted this whole thing under the assumption that the holy spamming he did that day was the offense that led to this when it was something else entirely that the GM was talking about in the first place. Yeah The GM didn't deny that it was holy, but he also never said IT WAS holy .As he first stated he couldn't go into detail about it so I think he just allowed the player to continue to assume it was.

if he spammed it in limsa i can imagine some people asked him to stop spamming, because yes, it is annoying after a while. if he got asked to stop it and he didnt, well he got it coming. and i know you can turn off effects but why should x amount of people in limsa turn off their effects for one person trying to annoy other people on purpose? also the title is misleading, its not that holy is bannable, spamming is. which is not a new information.

thats another thing that is bs about the Tos if they are going to ban someone they better write out atleast 270 words explaination with details of what was the issue really you want someone to follow a rule then tell them what one they are being accussed of and for what reasons... you can do this without given names or details of the pathic snitchs name.

thats another thing that is bs about the Tos if they are going to ban someone they better write out atleast 270 words explaination with details of what was the issue really you want someone to follow a rule then tell them what one they are being accussed of and for what reasons... you can do this without given names or details of the pathic snitchs name.

While I do think people should be allowed to know exactly why and what they did to get punished, I think in certain cases revealing that information would also reveal the identity of the person who reported you and that is something they're not allowed to do for various reasons. Even without meaning to even sharing a small detail can give the offender enough information to pinpoint exactly who it was that reported them especially if there was only x amount of people who were there when he committed the offense.

in those cases they should look at what happan and tell the person a in theory like and if thing to explain what was being consindered wrong ... because honestly todays era what Might be seen as innocent or just playfull to one person or 10 people even could be seen wrong by 5-6 .. and even if it was 1 person who had a issue with it that cry reported over it then its a issue of major parts... The main reason I avoid peope in most MMOs is its not worth the risk honestly you pay 75 dollars+ for the game and then monthlys and then 1 little cry baby who doesn't know how to use the blacklist or go to a diffrent spot in the same town can basicly steal it from you when the dumb Tos isn't even written correctly to the point it can be reasonably followed.

Which by the way they are allowed to they choice not to ... after all you have a right to face your accussor


beside everyone defines things diffrently

for exampe I don't view anything as harassment unless you are following that person every time they teleport and whispering them 3-4 days in a roll its not harassment period.. a single moment or a single spot is not harassment you have options like blacklist or relocation you could use at first if they follow you and whisper u then you know whats going on but if its in a single spot with basic words use the damn system they gave you is how i look at it.

Because lets be honest here if you really reporting someone because your annoyed by something the proplem isn't them its you when you have many other options to where you won't be screwing with someone in a completely unreasonable way ... and you don't even make a effort to use those options honestly your the one who should be banned for abusing the report system.

Besides you also have people who basicly Ninja report they walk into a spot see something they don't like and report without even asking the person to stop or anything they just do it and then funny enough leave the spot right after so honestly .... it does get abused alot
