FFXIV Devs: Please STOP punishing normal players for others breaking the rules.

so are they punishing the 97% of the players or the 1% that does Ultimate then? and still it's 2 years old now. We're not talking about current daily content the playerbase goes through now are we?

edit: people are just blowing things out of proportion... yet again. No wonder Yoshi P has decided not to share job adjustments with the community anymore before it comes out.

Hm, it sounds like we're in agreement that this is a stupid change, since all I'm saying that there's one mechanic in UCoB where the difficulty just spiked with this change.

Honestly, a better compromise would have been the ability to still place them during a fight, but you can't move them mid-fight without using the presets.

But still, if SE is going this far to rightfully kill the third party app that automatically places preset markers and replacing it with their own system, what reason is there to still restrict marker placement mid-fight anyway if they already made their own freaking system that won't require a third party app?
