Questing in shadow bringers need a suggestion

Hello so I'm questing in shadows on my tv I have the lowest brightness on both my tv and game account setting I can get Walking through the zone is really making me want to throw up like stomic wise plus I keep having to take a painkiller to get rid of a migrane each day I play. Is there any way I can make it less harsh to play in.

Greatly raise the brightness so you can actually see so you don't overtax your eyes and brain?

The contrast and gamma settings in the game's Config menu does nothing to tone down the First's glare?

Unfortunately the 'Everlasting Light' effect in the First isn't very easy on the eyes, and it reaches truly critical proportions in a certain dungeon around level 78 which is basically 'heaven on steroids' - I had to keep looking away the glare got that bad.

Luckily as part of the story that garish glare does disappear as you proceed through the storyline and a normal day/night cycle and weather return, but it takes a while.

While this is a light (...no pun intended) spoiler: The light wont stay forever. So to limit your exposure, my suggestion would be to ignore at least all sidequests and other sidecontent in the areas before you bring back the night by following the mainquest.

Unfortunatly this is kinda "working as intended", since they wanted to show how uncomfortable a world floded with light is - I remember reading similiar complains during or shortly after the launch.
The only solutions I could think about - beside adjusting the brightness on your TV as you did already - would be to look into the colorblind modes and see if you can adjust the colors somehow to make it less harsh or, as stupid as this sounds, try playing while wearing sunglasses.

While it certainly wasnt their intention to actually make people sick with all this light, they wanted to show how unpleasent this world is... and sadly for some of us they went a bit to far there, with no real solution I'd be aware off aside from finishing the mainquest in those areas asap and solve the problem The First has to solve your own...

The issue is is too bright, even at 0. I start out like that and dropped it down by 5's. I started with my brightness at 72 and now I flat out at 0 with this game have to raise it back up for all my other games just this one area is extremely bright and hard on you if you have light senstivity.

I guess I'll just have to buy some sun glasses or something then and rush -sigh- I hate rushing zones lol

Is it only Shadowbringers giving you issues like that? Is it in all areas or just specific places? Have you had issues with brightness before?

It sounds like it could be something more serious than (or at least caused by something other than) the game settings.

Also, generic advice - are you getting enough sleep? Light sensitivity (plus headaches and general functionality) is probably going to be worse if you're tired.

I suffer from chronic migraines and keeping the game too dark with the gamma below 50 would hurt my eyes. If you need special help, you can just wear sunglasses while playing Shadowbringers to further protect your eyes.

I did use blue light cut glasses while playing the game. It helped, a lot.

This is far from normal. Seek medical advice if you haven't already.

I have an eye condition which makes me sensitive to light, so I wear tinted glasses with anti-glare on the lenses. But I was diagnosed with this, so don't get some sun glasses and just call it a day. There are a variety of serious issues that have symptoms like you are describing.
