    They gave the exact reason FF7R gave for moving dates: "polishing". By your own logic FF7R was running scared first. Though this logic is laughable and I sincerely doubt there is ulterior motives for moving dates beyond what was given.

    EDIT: Also, if anything FF7R should be breathing a sigh of relief not being sandwiched between two massive game releases.
