If you really do want to support the bushfire victims, please make sure you are donating to a genuine charity.
Red Cross is taking donations. I'm sure there are others too, but that's the one I'm aware of.

Here's a twitter thread about places to donate, either be for the people who have lost everything and need relief, people who are trying to rebuild and restore, or to help out with preserving the flora and wildlife. You can also donate to any Fire Service in Australia which seems like the most direct option to deal with the fires itself. I'm sure there's more charities to look out for though. If you really do want to support the bushfire victims, please make sure you are donating to a genuine charity.

I don't recommend neither Red Cross or Salvation Army because of certain issues like how Red Cross isn't transparent about their cost breakdowns and only sparing a small margin of their donations to the cause, and Salvation Army being a discriminatory "charity" and notorious for being discriminatory towards LGBT+ people, even ones that they were supposed to be helping.
