For folks asking to tone down the grind, I'd brace for disappointment. The entire point of the relic for each expansion is that it trades off the difficulty of a Savage raid for a horrendous grind, instead. If you could get a Raid-level weapon by doing something trivial, that takes an awful lot of the appeal away from raiding in the first place. When you raid, you want to be challenged, but you also want to be rewarded for that challenge. If that reward is something any old shmuck can turn over a rock and pick up - well, what kind of reward is that? If you have to turn over a hundred thousand rocks, though, the raiders don't feel so bad. (Well, some still do. They are welcome to also try their hand at turning over a hundred thousand rocks, if it's so easy.)
I don't know how Eureka-like Bozja will be, but whatever form their Relic takes, you can bet your ass it will require countless hours of doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over...
The Story of Eureka:
Anemos players: Whoa, this place is actually dangerous! And we're doing exp parties now? I'm divided on whether I appreciate the old-skool feel or am revolted by it! *Then, CHOO-CHOO! The NM Train arrives!* Okay, I'm mostly cool with it, now. Still, this grind is awful.
SE: What? Where'd that train come from? Where did the exp parties go??? We must FIX THIS!!!
Pagos players: Oh, hell naw.
SE: Erm... Yeah, fine. Choo-choo it is. Please come back. Look, we'll even fix up Pagos a bit for you. Happy? And look, something new in Pyros!
Pyros players: Okay, yeah, these Logos actions are pretty neat. They allow for some pretty awesome cheese strats, too! Thanks for not nerfing them. Pagos still a drag, but somewhat better now. Kinda confused as to why half of the Eureka fire zone is covered with snow. Train running on schedule. Still, this grind is awful.
SE: Glad you approve, and have we got a treat for you!
Hydatos players: Wow, this is the most open Eureka yet! Only the most grind-tolerant among us have managed to make it here, but this is pretty cool. Train running on time. And, wow... Baldesion's Arsenal is intense! But don't you think it was a bit absurd to allow any rando to enter? Oh, and the grind is still awful.
I find that the folks who complain most bitterly about Eureka are the ones who never made it past Pagos. Folks that actually experienced Pyros and Hydatos usually have a much warmer opinion of Eureka as a whole. Not everyone, certainly, but in general. SE certainly did take folks opinions into consideration as the event evolved, and while the final stage certainly had its share of flaws, I found it to be pretty enjoyable, and many others did, as well.
