I'm not excited about the future patch at all. Just one dungeon?

To be fair, I think it was stated somewhere that SE actually does fund the game with mogstation funds. And they are separate teams. As long as the outfits they release aren't ugly, I will buy them.

I wish they would actually do viera hairs with those funds, but I guess new eureka or whatever is priority.

They could use that money to finish the two races they introduced with the expansion and they can't even wear hats properly.

Or hiring people to ban bots so we dont have to see them in the cities or gathering, breaking the economy at the same time.

Or include lasting content beyond raiding twice a week and staying in Limsa dancing.

They could do it. But they're going to do it? no, if they put in umbrellas and have you all jumping for joy.

Then what is your idea of "long lasting content beyond raiding twice a week"? What would you want to see? I'm guessing not more raids.

Hats will never happen. If they do it'll just be clipping. Actually making unique model for the viera/hrothgar is way too much, apparently. I'll have you know I go to limsa so little I get lost whenever there is an event there (seriously I actually forget the layout). Gridania is my spot, well usually the Inn room. With new Eureka or whatever that I have heard about that's a whole new way for me to afk and progress!

Seriously though, dungeons are actually worthless, all they are is variety to the dungeon finder, and usually an annoyance at that, new ones mean new ways for randoms to wipe the party. Would I want them scrapped? Not unless they had something better to offer up. I also am fine with more glamour content, like the umbrella - If it is tied to meaningful content to unlock it. As in, if they released decent rewards to new PvE (They can't do PvP) content that will keep people coming to that content. There needs to be a good balance here, even if some people find a specific piece of content good, or bad, people won't do it en masse, unless there are decent rewards (cosmetics, mats, etc). The large amount of people doing Eureka proved that.

Thats kind of the Problem with Headgear on Viera and Hrothgar (Well Mostly Hrothgar)They would actually have to completely redesign alot of gear to fit their Faces and heads.
That or Possibly Morph and extend some gear like a few Circlets, and it might just come out really whack. Ill guess there is some excuse to why they can't add earholes to alot of gear for the Viera, but I can't think of what it is without resorting to insulting them and calling them lazy. IDK.
Im a little jealous of the Viera having the ability to wear masks. Think the Hrothgar can only truly wear 2 items on the face without it being funky, or just not wearable at all.

Eureka was irritating, it was group content, but if you weren't there day one grinding it out with everyone, you were effectively left behind, desperately making call out to try and get into a group so you can catch up...Maybe I just had bad luck, but I could never get a group going. Thats mostly the reason I gave up on Eureka. Shame to, I hear it gets good after step 1.

From what Ive seen, Im not a fan of the Eureka Weapons. I still at least wanted the White Mage Cane since that is my Main, but honestly I wanted the Armor. And there are Emotes and other items and glamour that you can only get in Eureka. Or buy it on the Market for Millions of Gil @_@
