I don't get the clipping argument.
Clipping is so prevalent in this game that it's practically a feature; not a bug.

I'd rather keep the one option to have a bigger butt on my non-viera character than worry about fixing the clipping instance X of out the thousands that occur.

It's probably what they can and can't fix easily. They already had the system in place to modify which leg gear model gets displayed, so they just needed to toggle that one setting on and toss the terrible flat butt model in there.

Other things that clip might require creating new systems or heavily modifying a large number of items in order to fix them.

Does anyone know how many hours from now the 14 hour live stream thingy begins exactly? I’m actually really hoping Yoshida speaks on butt sliders again, and confirms whether or not it’ll happen. I would prefer more customization faces, but to get there, I assume butt sliders need to be first.

The simple fact that they openly said that they will talk about this tmr on the stream fills me with hope seeing as ...
1- It prob means even the JPN fans have noticed and raised their voices about this highly desired glam suddenly not working the way it use to. Not gonna pretend like I know how much or how often the devs pay any mind to the English side.
2- There's been enough noise to grab their attention and get a reply. Can't say I know the last time they decided to talk about the interactions of 1 big glam gear less than a week after it's change.

So here's hoping we get some good news.

Proof that apparently fixing clipping with a very specific set of bottoms is more important than actually fixing Dark Knight that they made so boring to the point were I play it if I hate myself or want to hate myself(or hate myself even more)...
